Teaching practice phase -2

St.Goretti's HSS, Nalanchira


Our second phase internship started on June 14. I got St. Goretti's H S S school for teaching practice. We are 15 trainees.Naveena and Abhirami are our leader & assistant leader.

We have different duties like discipline duty, lunch duty etc.


I got 9C & 9D classes for teaching.Sabu sir is my concern teacher.

Important Days

June -15: Vijayolsavam ceremony was conducted to honor the children who secured full A+ in the last SSLC exam. Sri. K. Jayakumar IAS was inaugurated the function.

June -19 : Reading Day 


     Reading Day programme was held in the school auditorium. Various cultural programs were conducted.

June -21 : Yoga Day


      Students celebrate yoga Day by doing yoga.

Our optional teachers and general teachers were come to observe the class.

  July 31 - Angust 4 ( Seventh week ) Last week of our Teaching practice. Our teaching practice extended to August 4. Ancy teacher came to observe the class. August 1 - Visit to Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi  Gandhi Darsan Club members visited "Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi " at Thaicaud. August 2 - Parents' meeting Today parents' meeting were conducted in the afternoon. Dr.Maya S ( Professor, Mar Theophilus Training College) took a motivational class for the Parents. After that there was a class PTA. August 3 - Health & Hygene class Health & Hygene class were conducted in the forenoon for UP & High School girls. August 4 -  Last day of our teaching practice . After the morning prayer, Sister thanked us for the services we have done in the school for the past one and a half months.Naveena, our leader, thanked the headmistress and teachers for all the support from the school.   July 4 - July 7 ( Third Week ) Teaching practice is going very well.  Joju sir and optional teachers came to observe the class. On Wednesday there was a meeting conducted by an organisation to distribute study Materials to UP & High School students. The feast day of St. Maria Goretti , the intercessor of the School, was celebrated in the school on Thursday. various programms were conducted till noon under the leadership of KCSL children.

  Day - 2     19 - 11 - 2021       Today first period was taken by Dr. Jibi George . Teacher told about the importance of psychology in education field. A teacher should have 3 types competency.       1.  Subject competency      2.  Teaching technic competency      3.  Knowing the learner             Joju Sir said that we must have a vision of value. A Person's strength is his values.      " The child's mind is not a bucket to be filled with Knowledge, but a lamp to be burned."           Time for entertainment
